Questions & Answers
Straight answers from the Squad on the Saucy Slimmer.
What is the Googan Baits Saucy Slimmer?
The Saucy Slimmer is a slim-profile paddle tail swimbait built for clear water and pressured fish. Its thin, deep body mimics a shad, and its boot-style tail creates an erratic kick with a lifelike wobble. The slim build also slides through cover where thicker baits get hung up. It's infused with Slaunch Sauce scent and comes in 3.5" and 4" sizes.
How do you rig the Saucy Slimmer?
Rig it on a swimbait jig head for a steady retrieve, or on a weighted swimbait hook to stay weedless around cover. It also works as a trailer, on an underspin, on an Alabama rig, and on a drop shot for suspended or pressured fish.
Which Saucy Slimmer size should I buy?
The 3.5" Saucy Slimmer comes 7 baits per pack and is the finesse choice for clear water, underspins and drop shots. The 4" comes 6 baits per pack and has a slightly bigger profile for jig heads and trailers. Both come in a molded clamshell so the tails stay straight.
What's the difference between the Saucy Slimmer and the Saucy Swimmer?
Both are paddle tail swimbaits with a boot-style tail and Slaunch Sauce scent. The Saucy Swimmer has a fuller body and comes in 2.8" to 4.8" sizes for a bigger thump. The Saucy Slimmer has a thinner, deeper body for a subtler, more natural look in clear water and for pressured fish, in 3.5" and 4" sizes.
What are the best Saucy Slimmer colors?
Shad colors like White Pearl Shad, Green Gizzard Shad, Electric Shad and Sexy Shimmer are top choices in clear water. Green Pumpkin Pearl looks natural around grass. Pro Blue Red and Flamin' Hot add color and flash in stained water.
When and where does the Saucy Slimmer work best?
The Saucy Slimmer catches fish year-round and really shines in clear water and on heavily pressured lakes. Swim it over and through grass, in open water around schooling fish, and past wood.
How fast will my order ship?
Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays), mainly via USPS, and you'll get a tracking email as soon as yours is on the way. U.S. orders over $99 ship free, and returns are free within 45 days.
