Googan Squad Rods

1-YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY/3-YEAR LIMITED MANUFACTURER WARRANTY (GOOGAN SQUAD RODS)

 

Warranty registration and proof of purchase is required.

As of April 15th, 2024, House of Outdoors (Googan Squad) has taken over responsibility for the warranty of Googan Squad rods from the previous manufacturer, Catch Co. The previous warranty, managed by Catch Co, has been updated to the new warranty stated below. If you have previously registered for a warranty with Catch Co, you will need to re-register with the link provided below.

Register your rod here to activate your warranty. Please note that this form is for registration only and is not a claims form. To start a claim contact us via email at help@googansquad.com, and one of our representatives will assist you with the process.

When initiating a claim please provide pictures of the broken rod and an original proof of purchase. This could either be a receipt or confirmation email provided by the retailer. If purchased from the Googan Squad website, please provide the order number in place of a proof of purchase.

1-YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY:

Googan Squad Rods are covered against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. You must register your rod by completing a Warranty Registration Form within forty-five (45) days of the date of purchase in order for claims to be eligible. If you believe you are entitled to make a claim after registering a rod, please contact us at help@googansquad.com, and one of our representatives will assist you with the process. 

For the period indicated above, Googan Squad will replace and return the covered items found to be defective in material or workmanship at no charge except for a processing fee. The processing fees are,

  • $40 - Green Series Rods
  • $50 - Gold Series Rods
  • $60 - Black Series Rods

If an identical model is no longer available, Googan Squad will offer a like model for warranty coverage. 

3-YEAR LIMITED MANUFACTURER WARRANTY:

Googan Squad Rods are covered against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (3) years from the date of purchase. You must register your rod by completing a Warranty Registration Form within forty-five (45) days of the date of purchase in order for claims to be eligible. If you believe you are entitled to make a claim after registering a rod, please contact us at help@googansquad.com, and one of our representatives will assist you with the process. 

For the period indicated above, Googan Squad will provide a 50% off MSRP discount for covered items found to be defective in material or workmanship. Shipping cost for the replacement item will be at the expense of the original purchaser. If an identical model is no longer available, Googan Squad will offer a like model for warranty coverage. 

OTHER ROD WARRANTY DETAILS:

Warranty claims are limited to 1 claim per original purchase.

Rods received as part of a promotional event with a discount greater than 40% will only be applicable for replacement at 50% off MSRP. 

Googan Squad will have no other obligation and will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Googan Squad makes no implied warranty for any period beyond the stated duration. This Warranty does not cover damage by alteration of the product, addition to the product, accidental damage or loss, abuse, misuse, failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance or normal expected wear. This warranty does not extend to products that are used for commercial or rental purposes. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the rod, and does not give any rights to any other person. This warranty is valid for purchases from any authorized retailers, including but not limited to googansquad.com, Dick's Sporting Goods, Academy Sports & Outdoors, and Walmart. Rods requiring warranty repair should not be returned to the store of purchase. PLEASE RETAIN YOUR PURCHASE OR GIFT RECEIPT SO THAT YOU CAN PRESENT IT TO US IF NECESSARY.
