The Fuzzy Wuzzy is an all-season hair jig for northern smallmouth, trout and cold-water largemouth. It has a durable coated jig head, a hand-tied feather body that breathes and pulses in the water, and a stout hook built to hold big fish. The size is stamped on every head so you always know what you're tying on. Each pack includes 3 jigs.
How do you fish a hair jig?
Cast it out, let it sink, and swim it back slowly just off the bottom so the feathers pulse. You can also hop it with small lifts of the rod, or let it sit still, since the feathers keep moving on their own. In cold water, go slow, and hang it under a float when fish are suspended.
What weight Fuzzy Wuzzy should I use?
The Fuzzy Wuzzy comes in 1/16 oz with a #1 hook, 1/8 oz with a 1/0 hook, and 1/4 oz. Use 1/16 oz for trout, creeks and the slowest fall; 1/8 oz as an all-around choice for smallmouth; and 1/4 oz to fish deeper water or in wind and current.
