- Slow Retrieve
- Versatile Design
Reserve colors are limited edition.
The Googan Squad Bumper is a unique bladed jig and double Colorado spinnerbait that combines the flash of a spinnerbait with the heavy thumping vibration of a double Colorado blade. This is the ultimate bait for fishing in cold, dirty water, or for night fishing, as the loud "thump" helps bass locate and strike the lure in low-visibility conditions.
The Bumper's design allows you to retrieve it at a slower speed than a traditional willow-bladed spinnerbait, making it an excellent choice for targeting lethargic fish in cold water. Its durable construction and premium components ensure it will stand up to the abuse of fishing in heavy cover and fighting big fish.
- Heavy Thumping Vibration – Double Colorado blades create a powerful vibration that attracts fish in low-visibility conditions.
- Slow Retrieve – Can be fished effectively at slower speeds, making it ideal for cold water.
- Versatile Design – Functions as a bladed jig and a spinnerbait.
- Premium Components – Features a stout hook and a durable wire frame.

Questions & Answers
Straight answers from the Squad on the Bumper.
What is the Googan Squad Bumper?
The Bumper is a double Colorado blade spinnerbait that pairs spinnerbait flash with a heavy thumping vibration. The thump helps bass find the bait in cold, dirty water and at night, and it lets you fish it slower than a willow-blade spinnerbait. It's built with durable, premium components for heavy cover. Each pack includes one bait.
How do you fish a double Colorado spinnerbait?
Slow roll it: reel just fast enough to keep the Colorado blades turning and thumping, close to the bottom or along cover. Bump it into wood, rocks and grass, and let it helicopter down along drop-offs. A slow, steady retrieve is key in cold water and at night, when bass are less willing to chase.
What weight Bumper should I use?
The Bumper comes in 3/8 oz with a 4/0 hook and 1/2 oz with a 5/0 hook. Use the 3/8 oz to slow roll in shallow water, and the 1/2 oz to stay deeper, handle wind, or fish bigger cover.
What's the difference between the Bumper and the Mini Bumper?
Both are double Colorado spinnerbaits with a heavy thumping vibration. The Bumper comes in 3/8 oz (4/0 hook) and 1/2 oz (5/0 hook) for bass in cold, dirty water and at night. The Mini Bumper is a downsized 1/4 oz version with a 3/0 Mustad hook, for finesse situations, pressured fish and smaller species.
What are the best Bumper colors?
Black Blue is the go-to color at night and in muddy water. White, Chartreuse White and Sexy Shad imitate shad and stand out in stained water. Bluegill matches panfish around cover, and Sunrise Craw adds bold color in dirty water.
When is the best time to fish the Bumper?
The Bumper shines in cold water, stained or muddy water, and at night, anytime bass rely on vibration to find their food. Fish it around wood, rocks and grass.
How fast will my order ship?
