How do you fish a popping frog?
Cast it over or past the cover, then give the rod short, sharp twitches so the cupped mouth pops and spits water, pausing between pops. You can also walk it side to side with steady twitches on slack line. Pause it in open pockets and along mat edges. When a fish blows up on it, wait until you feel the weight before setting the hook.
What sizes does the Poppin' Filthy Frog come in?
The full-size Poppin' Filthy Frog is 2 1/2" and 5/8 oz with a 4/0 double hook. The Mini is 2" and 3/8 oz with a 2/0 double hook, a great pick for smaller ponds and pressured fish.
