The Bass Mafia Unloaded Daingerous Swimbait
Questions & Answers
Straight answers from the Squad on the Bass Mafia Unloaded Daingerous Swimbait.
What is the Bass Mafia Daingerous Swimbait?
The Daingerous is a big bass paddle tail swimbait designed with professional angler Chris Zaldain. Its realistic body, flattened belly and custom paddle tail create a natural, stable swimming action with strong water displacement, and its hand-painted colors drive big bass to strike. It's built for big fish cruising open water and holding near isolated targets.
What's the difference between the Loaded and Unloaded Daingerous Swimbait?
The Loaded Daingerous comes pre-rigged with a line-through top-hook harness and internal weight, so it's ready to fish right out of the package, with 1 bait per pack. The Unloaded Daingerous is the body only, with 2 per pack, so you can rig it your way using its dual hook slots and a stinger hook through the split dorsal fin.
How do you rig the Unloaded Daingerous Swimbait?
The Unloaded Daingerous comes 2 per pack in 5", 6" and 7" sizes, ready for you to rig your way. Use its dual hook slots to rig it on a swimbait jig head or a weighted weedless swimbait hook, and add a stinger hook through the split dorsal fin for extra hookups on short strikes.
How do you fish a big swimbait?
Cast it out, count it down to the depth fish are holding, and reel it back with a slow, steady retrieve so the paddle tail thumps. Slow roll it over structure and grass lines, and run it past isolated targets like docks, laydowns and rocks. Use a heavy rod and strong line to handle the weight of the bait and the big fish it attracts.
What are the best Daingerous Swimbait colors?
Match the baitfish in your lake. Blueback Herring, Blackback Shad, Tennessee Shad and the gizzard shad colors are top choices where bass feed on shad and herring. Ghost and Pro Bass colors look natural in clear water. Albino, Violet Albino and Chartreuse Blue are high-visibility choices for stained water and low light.
