Questions & Answers
Straight answers from the Squad on the Mondo Worm.
What is the Googan Baits Mondo Worm?
The Mondo Worm is a big ribbon tail worm designed by Lake Fork Guy to catch trophy bass. Its long body and massive ribbon tail create an aggressive fluttering, swimming action that draws strikes from a distance. It's infused with Slaunch Sauce scent and comes in 10" and 7.25" sizes.
How do you rig the Mondo Worm?
Texas rig it on a Mondo EWG Hook with a bullet weight for the classic big worm setup. Drag and hop it slowly along ledges and offshore structure, or pitch it into heavy cover. The Mondo Worm also works on a Carolina rig to cover deep water quickly.
What sizes does the Mondo Worm come in?
The Mondo Worm comes in 10" and 7.25" sizes, with 8 baits per pack in each. Choose the 10" when you're targeting trophy fish, and the 7.25" when you want a big profile that still gets plenty of bites.
What are the best Mondo Worm colors?
Green Pumpkin, Watermelon Red and Natural look most natural in clear water. Plum, Red Bug and California Craw are classic big worm colors for stained water. In muddy water or low light, Black Blue Flake and Junebug give bass the strongest silhouette.
When is the best time to fish a big ribbon tail worm?
Big ribbon tail worms shine in the post-spawn and summer when bass move to ledges and deep structure, and in warm water in the spring. Drag the Mondo Worm along ledges and rocks, or work it around wood and grass.
Is the Mondo Worm scented?
Yes. Every Mondo Worm is infused with Googan Baits' signature Slaunch Sauce scent so bass hold on longer after they bite. Each pack comes in a molded clamshell so the worms and tails stay straight.
How fast will my order ship?
Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays), mainly via USPS, and you'll get a tracking email as soon as yours is on the way. U.S. orders over $99 ship free, and returns are free within 45 days.
